While we’d redesigned our site once during my 5 year tenure at Dashlane, we’d never had the chance to really rebuild the full site from the ground up. We’d also never had a chance to really document our brand in a comprehensive, distributable way. On the Dev side, we gutted our codebase, replacing it with a templated sbuild system via node, less, handlebars, and es6. On the design side, we built personas, redesigned + modularized + responsivized every page on our current site, added Sketch + Zeplin + asset management to our process.

In the end, the new site performed about as well re: conversion as the old site (which performed really well), but we drastically decreased production time, added more control on the testing front, and codified + documented our creative systems for team consumption.
